Letterpress & Embossing

Price: $$$-$$$$

Minimum Order: 50

Timeline: 3 weeks + postage

Letterpress is when your card is pressed with an inked metal plate, leaving a gorgeous impression to see and touch. Double thick (duplex) or cotton card stocks are the best choice to ensure a deep, pillowy effect. It takes a lot of skill, time and a perfectionist’s eye to get the finish just right, which is why we work with an expert print team who will produce your invitations with the care they deserve.

Blind Letterpress is a stunning option for design elements such as monograms or floral illustrations, but for the wording it is best to add a touch of ink from your wedding colour palette.

Embossing is a similar method to Letterpress, however the design is pressed into the back of the card, creating a beautifully tactile, raised element.

Hot Foil Press

Price: $$$$

Minimum Order: 50

Timeline: 3 weeks + postage

For an ethereal and luxurious print technique – it is hard to go past hot foil press. Wow your guests with a shiny, metallic foil that has been pressed onto thick paper stock. You have the option of combining foil with digital printing if you wish. This is a great option if you’d like to include guest names or a coloured illustration. Elevate the look further with edge foiling for a really breathtaking design! We offer a wide range of foil colours and because foil is opaque it suits almost any card stock. This is our most expensive printing method, but worth the investment when you see the finished results.

Our most popular foil colours are gold, silver, rose gold and copper, but we have lots to choose from, so please ask if interested.
